Speak the Unspoken
An online women’s gathering for Sharing & Healing
Date: 13th of February, a day before the full moon
Time: 18-21 CET
Where: Zoom (link will be sent to you when registered)
When #MeToo happened, many of us found the courage to speak up about our experiences with sexual abuse, harassment, and boundary violations. For some, it was the first time ever sharing these truths with a friend; for others, it was as simple as posting the hashtag on social media. For me, it was the first time I opened up to some of my closest girlfriends and heard about what they had been through. I was shocked—these were women I had known intimately for years, yet we did not know the pain we carried due to our sexual traumas.
#MeToo revealed a devastating truth: nearly all of us have faced some form of sexual abuse, harassment, or assault. All of us.
Now, it’s time to go deeper. Maybe we can call it the next layer of #MeToo - not just acknowledging what we’ve been through, but also coming together in a safe and sacred space to share the deeper layer of our experiences.
The intention with this space is to create a safe container for us to share from a first person perspective what happened for us, what it felt like, how it impacted our lives and how we are working our way towards healing.
There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to—you’re simply invited to speak at the depth that feels right for you and your healing. Attending this event is in and of itself a signal to yourself that you are showing up for your healing journey, and a reminder that there are spaces where your voice will be heard when you are ready.
In this circle, your voice and your story are welcome. If you choose, you will be seen and heard. At the same time, this space is also about listening and being loving witness for others - offering your presence as a medicine for othersin their healing journey.
So Sisters, join me as we step into courage, honour our experiences, and find strength in the collective wisdom of sisterhood.
When we share our story, we share women’s story.
When we see a sister, we also see ourselves.
When we heal ourselves, we heal the collective.
Thank you, brave soul, for joining this deeply important work.
Lots of love,
/Cim
